Girls Gone Gazelle Run Club will be leaving the Facebook platform this month. So if you are interested in having a young girl you know join us for training in 2023 then please continue to check out our website: www.girlsgonegazelle.com for updates as we will start using our website and its blog function for sharing news in the New Year. But, if you are reading this then you are already half-way there.

Without the ease of sharing news here, we will need your help more than ever to reach our youth but we feel it is the right choice for our organization which has thrived for more than ten years. In 2022 we had 114 young girls train with us in Dartmouth & Cape Breton, Nova Scotia as well as Leader, Saskatchewan. And… we hope to expand to one more province in 2023. Who runs the world? Girls.

So, why leave? Research shows that the more time people spend on Facebook and Instagram, the more they compare themselves socially. This social comparison is linked, among other things, to lower self-esteem and higher social anxiety. We’d rather lift our Gazelles up. See you on the roads or at the races. ~Coach Stacy
